REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors!

The Northern Neck Association of REALTORS® is proud to share the success of our recent Food Drive held during REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors Week.

Thanks to the generosity of our REALTORS®, affiliates, brokerages, volunteers, and community supporters, we were able to collect and package food that will help stock local food pantries throughout the Northern Neck. Together, we helped support Healthy Harvest’s efforts to provide food assistance across the four counties we serve. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who donated their time, resources, and contributions to make this project a success. Special thanks to Virginia REALTORS® and Leslie Frazier for their support of this community outreach effort. By working together, we continue to demonstrate that REALTORS® are committed not only to helping people find homes, but also to strengthening the communities we call home.

Local Realtors, dedicated to supporting the community we call home

The Northern Neck Association of Realtors (NNAR) is proud to continue its tradition of giving back to the communities we serve. Recently, NNAR made a $500 donation to The Haven Shelter, a vital organization in our region. In addition, the association supported The Haven’s Back to School Drive, helping ensure that the children staying at the shelter had the necessary supplies for a positive start to the school year.

The Haven provides critical services throughout Westmoreland, Richmond, Essex, Lancaster, and Northumberland counties. These include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, court advocacy, and support groups for those in need.

As Realtors, we not only live and work here, but we are also committed to uplifting and supporting our neighbors. NNAR is proud to stand beside organizations like The Haven, which make a lasting difference in our community.

Did you know that The Healthy Harvest Backpack Program serves students in 19 schools throughout our area? Healthy Harvest partners in each county identify the students in need; coordinate the consent process for the program; identify and help resolve challenges that impeded students from getting Backpacks; and help with surveys that provided information to continue improving the Backpack Program.
